Redecorating with an Oriental rug
I am redecorating our dining room and was looking for some good ideas so I went to all the furniture stores in the Chicago area to see what they had to offer. When I finally decided on what type of furniture I wanted, I needed to figure out what kind of carpet I would like to compliment this furniture. We just had new flooring put in so I no longer wanted wall-to-wall carpeting. I couldn’t decide on what would look best in this room. I wanted something that was different from what I had before but something that I would still feel comfortable with. I never realized that there were so many choices out there. With a fabric sample in hand, I continued to scout new sources. One salesman suggested that a good Oriental rug could make my room special. I gave it a lot of thought and wondered where to look for an Oriental rug in Chicago. I looked in the phone book and on the Internet for sites to find an Oriental carpet. I found a few really knowledgeable sales people in those stores and made sure I picked the Oriental rug that would bring the finishing touch to my dining room.
