A CHICAGO CONDO

My aunt was recently widowed and didn’t like living alone. She didn’t feel comfortable living in the big house all by herself. She lived in a suburb and was far from everywhere she enjoyed going. She was leery about driving alone. She had a lot of concerns to consider. She felt more comfortable with people around but didn’t like the idea of having a roommate. Another big concern for her was not being able to do maintenance on her home herself and having to find the right company to hire to do the work. Who could she trust to do a proper job and not overcharge her? She was too young-at-heart to got to a nursing home. She didn’t need an assisted living arrangement. She thought long and hard about her options and what she could do to most improve her situation. Her solution was moving to a Chicago condo. She still has a place of her own but has the peace of mind that other people are living in the building. She can use public transportation and not worry about driving. She has met a lot of new people and made many friends. She is relieved that the maintenance decisions are not her worry any more.
