MEETING DOWNTOWN

I had someone to meet downtown and I got off to a later start than I wanted to. My doctor spent some extra time reviewing the glucose test information with me. Luckily the guy I was meeting is very patient, but I had really wanted to make a good impression. He was a gentleman about it and said he'd only been waiting about ten minutes when I asked. As I was thinking about it later I realized he must've been waiting around for at least a half hour! He mentioned something about how he got there around eight and I didn't get there until much later. I wasn't wearing a watch so I don't know the exact time. I'm sure I didn't make too good of an impression by not wearing a watch either. Although he noticed that right away and commented that he liked that I didn't! Anyways, I was trying to make a good impression because this guy is someone I would like to get to know better. We ran across each other in the building where I work. I thought maybe he worked for my company too, but on a different floor. It turns out that he actually works for a company right around the corner. There's a post office on the bottom level of the building where I work, so he comes here frequently to run errands and send packages. I told myself I would never date a co-worker. I've seen too many instances where it hasn't worked out. When we first met, I remember I was so relieved to find out that he wasn't!
